진짜 시작부터 탈많았던 프로젝트

계획도 많이 지체되고 아무튼 내일 최종 미팅에서 마무리 점검하고

16일 당일날 현장가면 이번건은 끝난다

이 프로젝트는 사실 내가 낸 아이디어였다

패션관련 프로젝트이되 좀더 ethical하고 친환경적인 프로젝트를 구상했다
하지만 얼떨결에 온라인홍보마케팅담당을 맡아서(원치 않았던) 초반부터 많이 헤멨다
(고객유치라는게 보통 쉬운일이 아니더라, 시장조사도 해야하고)

 

 

토큰을 통화로 할지말지서부터, 토큰 디자인선정, 가격 책정, 장소,날짜,시간선정, 룸 구하기, 광고홍보하기, 스태프 선정하기...

뭘 결정하든 무엇보다도 멤버들의 각기다른 의견을 통합하는게 보통 쉬운 일이 아니었다
3~5명끼리의 그룹 프로젝트(그것도 아카데믹한)만 하다가 약간 스케일이 큰 프로젝트를 하다보니까
일정도, 계획도, 멤버들 그리고 나 스스로도 컨트롤이 안됐었다

무튼 이번 프로젝트는 약간 세일즈쪽인데
세일즈, 역시 발로 뛰는 분야인것만은 확실히 알았다

The Manchester Fashion Swap Shop encourages recycling, reusing and reducing textiles in the local community so as to reduce landfills, pollution and environmental damage.

We're serious about sustainability and the Swap Shop encourages sustainable fashion through ethical swapping activity.

Why should I get involved?
- It is estimated that more than 1 million tonnes of textiles are thrown away every year

- Textile recycling reduces the need for landfill space.

Synthetic (man-made fibres) products will not decompose, while woollen garments do decompose and produce methane, which contributes to global warming.
- All monies raised will be used by the SIFE University of Manchester Team to deliver projects which provide economic opportunities to the local community. See our website for more details:

Products:
The idea is simple:
- Bring your unwanted clothing and exchange for tokens which you can then use to obtain items which other students wish to swop during the swap shop event.
If you're bored with your wardrobe and want to re-cycle your unwanted clothes rather than throw them away

- then why not join in the fun and swop till you drop!

Why should I attend?
- The Swap Shop is the cheap and easy way to update your tired boring old wardrobe!
- The Swap Shop is a fun way to socialise with others!

Rules

Attendants are free to bring all their clothing pieces that they do not need anymore.

We expect mostly high street clothes.
The staff will check all the clothes and/or jewellery and afterwards you will be given some tokens.

All the clothes should be previously washed and ironed and in a fairly good condition.
As we want everybody to enjoy and profit from the swap shop we will not be able to accept any damaged items.
The clothes should be brought ahead of time when the fashion swap event will take place.

You will need to come along at the event with your tokens in order to be able to get any of the fabulous items that you may like.

If you think that you do not have anything to swap than you still can take part of the event if you purchase any tokens.

Value of tokens

All the pieces that you will bring along will have a certain value in tokens that afterwards you will be able to use in order to take any of the clothing or accessories pieces that you might want to.

 
 

The staff decided to value the clothes and accessories as follows:

Accessories
e.g. Scarves, hats jewellery are worth 1 token.
A shirt/t-shirt/jumper is worth 3 tokens. A pair of jeans/trousers/skirt/dress or jacket is worth 5 tokens.
A coat is worth 7 tokens.

If you would need to buy tokens than their value is as follows:
1 token can be bought for £1
3 tokens can be bought for £2
5 tokens Can be bought for £3.50
